Bournemouth AFC player huddle

The flying winger could be set for another loan away from the Premier League champions, having spent the 2014-15 season at Everton.

Sky Sports reports that Chelsea's Ghanian winger Christian Atsu is set to join Bournemouth ahead of next season intensified on Wednesday, when the player was spotted arriving at the club to discuss a loan move from the Premier League champions.

Since arriving from Porto in 2013, the 23-year-old has failed to feature for the Blues, instead taking in two successive loan spells, first in the Netherlands with Vitesse Arnhem, and then with Everton in the Premier League this season, but he looks set for another loan chance in the top flight next season if Sky's video footage is anything to go by.

Atsu's spell in the Eredivisie was relatively successful, but his time on loan at Goodison Park has been a disappointment, making only 13 appearances and just one Premier League start all season. However, in his limited Everton minutes in the league, he still managed to provide two assists with his blistering pace a weapon if utilised.

The young winger may have a better shot at regular first team football come the 2015-16 season as the Cherries prepare for their first ever Premier League campaign.

Bournemouth have already signed goalkeepers Artur Boruc and Adam Federici, and bringing in Atsu would mean they have three new faces at Dean Court next year, all without having to pay out any significant transfer fees.
