The 22-year-old is out of contract at the Toffees at the end of next month and the paper has suggested that Roberto Martinez’s team will not be offering him an extended deal.
The left-back slot at the club is secure through Leighton Baines and Brendan Galloway, which could allow one of the side’s Premier League rivals for next season to pick him up on a free transfer.
Galloway in particular has shown promise in recent performances after being drafted into the first team ranks by Martinez for the closing weeks of last season.
If he does entertain the idea of a new deal, it will most likely be on the basis that he’s guaranteed a certain level of playing time, which looks unlikely considering the options ahead of him in the pecking order.
Bournemouth would be an exciting move considering their recent promotion into the top flight while a move to Swansea would represent a chance to play refined football under the guidance of Garry Monk.
