Manchester United record signing Angel di Maria's 2014/15 is over, but many questions remain over the talented Argentine.
The Evening Standard reported that French champions PSG are eyeing a big summer offer for the player they missed out on last summer, who scored three times and provided 10 assists for the Red Devils this season.
Despite the Argentine reaching double figures for goals created, the way his season trailed off leaves his future open to debate, and Jamie Redknapp believes he could leave.
He told The Mail he classed Di Maria as one of the three biggest let downs of the season, along with Mario Balotelli of Liverpool and Vincent Kompany of Manchester City.
Redknapp added that United should attempt to swap Di Maria for PSG defender Marquinhos.
He said: "I remember early in the season when he destroyed QPR and I was excited that he was here in England, but he has been a massive disappointment at Manchester United and I wouldn’t be surprised if we have seen the last of him, especially if PSG come up with the money. A swap for Brazilian defender Marquinhos, perhaps?"
United are in need of reinforcements at centre-back, and Marquinhos is a two-time title winner with PSG.
He is though unlikely to move on, signing a new contract with the French champions just last month, taking him up until 2019.
Getting Di Maria could convince PSG to reconsider but another player may be more likely, with The Mail reporting right-back Gregory van der Wiel is a possibility to sign with United in part-exchange.
