HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Vasco da Gama defender Luan is attracting interest from several Premier League sides.
Luan is regarded as one of the best defensive prospects to emerge in Brazil in recent years and his progress has not gone unnoticed among clubs across Europe.
The 22-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Vasco, made his first-team debut in 2012 and he has gone on to make 90 appearances for the club.
The classy central defender, who can also play at right-back, has represented Brazil at Under 20 and U23 level and has been tipped to break into the Brazil senior squad in the near future.
Luan helped Vasco win the Carioca Championship this year and in the first three games of this season's Serie A, he has helped Vasco keep two clean sheets.
Vasco are bracing themselves for interest in Luan, with a number of Premier League clubs actively scouting him, while several Italian and German sides are also monitoring him closely.
Luan has just two years to run on his current deal at Vasco and it is thought that he could be available for as little as £3million if any of his Premier League suitors firm up their interest in the defender.
