Dani Alves’ latest comments stating that Barcelona have disrespected him have accentuated rumblings that the experienced Brazilian is set to leave Camp Nou this summer.
As such, the Spanish media are starting to put together potential new right-backs that the newly crowned La Liga champions could turn to if terms cannot be agreed with the former Sevilla star.
El Mundo Deportivo have published a 12-man strong list of potential new arrivals at the Catalan giants, with two Premier League right-backs amongst the list.
The Spanish newspaper have stated that both Hector Bellerin and Javi Manquillo are under consideration by Luis Enrique’s men.
The Arsenal full-back spent eight years in the Catalan club’s fabled La Masia youth system, before signing for the North London outfit in 2011.
The 20-year-old has been converted from a right winger to a right-back since moving to England and has been impressive in his breakthrough campaign this season at the Emirates Stadium.
Manquillo is currently on loan at Liverpool until the end of next season from Atletico Madrid and is Bellerin’s team-mate at Spanish under-21 level.
The 21-year-old made an impressive introduction to life in English football but has been deprived of chances in the Reds’ starting XI in recent times.
Other candidates for the Blaugrana include Sevilla’s Aleix Vidal and Monaco’s Fabinho.
