Tottenham Hotspur striking prospect Kazaiah Sterling has endeared himself to supporters by making a dig at rivals Arsenal.
Sterling is an England youth international and was part of the side's FA Youth Cup run to the semi-finals, and took to Twitter while watching the highlights of Arsenal's 4-1 win over West Brom on Match of the Day.
The youngster felt the manner of the win was a futile effort, with the club's title challenge wilting last month when they failed to win at home to would-be champions Chelsea.
It looks like arsenal haven taken all the shots that should of taken throughout the season in this last game— Kazaiah sterling ⚽️ (@ksterling_98) May 24, 2015
Arsenal have often been criticised for trying to score goals in a too-intricate manner, and had not netted for three consecutive games in the lead up to the win over West Brom.
Their win included superb strikes from Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere, who lashed unstoppable efforts into the net amid their desire to impress manager Arsene Wenger and earn a place in the club's FA Cup Final starting line-up next week.
|Match||Total Scoring Attempts|
|Arsenal||Arsenal vs Burnley||32|
|Arsenal||Arsenal vs Sunderland||28|
|Arsenal||Arsenal vs Hull City||25|
|Arsenal||Leicester vs Arsenal||24|
|Arsenal||Arsenal vs West Brom||24|
The game featured in Arsenal's top five this season in number of attempts on goal in a single match in the Premier League.
They are having no problem in creating chances at present, with their midweek match against Sunderland also listed, but they had less luck on that occasion, held to a 0-0 draw.
If Aston Villa allow them 24 shots on goal next week, there is a strong chance the Gunners will be celebrating winning the FA Cup, as they aim to succeed at Wembley where rivals Tottenham failed earlier this season in the Capital One Cup Final.
