QPR fans react on Twitter to 'lazy' Leroy Fer's performance v Leicester

QPR Mascot And Fans

The Dutchman has impressed this season but the Queens Park Rangers faithful weren't too pleased by his lack of work-rate against Leicester City.

Of the (very short) list of players QPR fans would like to see kept at Loftus Road next season, Leroy Fer ranks highly.

The Dutchman has offered quality on numerous occasions for the west London side, also scoring two spectacular goals that were unfortunate not to make Match of the Day's final Goal of the Season shortlist.

Despite his quality, however, Fer was accused by QPR supporters of being 'lazy' against Leicester on Sunday afternoon. The R's' dismal season was summed up by their final game - a 5-1 defeat against a team that were promoted with them last summer and managed to stay in the Premier League (unlike QPR).

And Fer was at fault for one of the goals and looked like he simply didn't care anymore. Few could blame him from a neutral perspective - but fans would still have liked to see him give his all for QPR.

The Dutchman did receive credit, though, for applauding the fans at the end of the day. He was one of only a handful to do so.

But Fer's performance and lack of tracking back frustrated the QPR faithful during their thrashing at Leicester on Sunday. Here's a selection of what was said on Twitter after the game...
