Gutierrez has been on the books of Newcastle since 2008, but his current contract with the Magpies runs out in June of this year and no new deal is in place.
The Argentine has now hinted on Twitter that Sunday’s game against West Ham United at home was his last for the club.

Gutierrez was the hero against the Hammers, scoring the second goal in a 2-0 victory at St. James’ Park which secured their survival in the Premier League.
France international midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who headed Newcastle in the lead in the 54th minute, posted the following message on Twitter:
