The outcast defender is a former Newcastle United player.
Newcastle United or Hull City, that is what the Premier League final day boils down to. One of these teams will be relegated this afternoon, joining Burnley and QPR in the Championship.
It could have easily been Crystal Palace. When Neil Warnock was in charge this season it looked like they were on their way out of the Premier League.
However, Alan Pardew came in and the former Palace player has turned things around for The Eagles.
Without him, Newcastle United have plummeted under John Carver, leaving the Toon Army ruing what they wished.
One Palace player however will be in attendance at St James Park today, hoping they survive.
Peter Ramage, who is set to leave Palace this summer, sent out this Tweet earlier today.
Off to St.James today #HowayTheLads ! Positive thoughts, positive results...!— Peter Ramage (@peterramage83) May 24, 2015
Ramage, also a defender, has not played a game for Palace since August 2013 and has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Barnsley.
He came through the ranks at Newcastle, spending 12 years with the club and playing over 50 games for The Magpies.
Born in Whitley Bay he is a Newcastle United fan and will no doubt be cheering them on this afternoon.
