West Brom reportedly include Jonathan Leko in their match-day squad for Arsenal clash

West Brom - The Hawthorns

A young West Bromwich Albion striker is being tipped to play some part against Arsenal this weekend.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion have called up teenage striker Jonathan Leko for their final Premier League match of the campaign.

The Baggies take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and the 16-year-old could feature in what would be a surprising turn of events.

When you consider 21-year-old Adil Nabi is yet to make his senior debut for West Brom, including a player five years his junior against the Gunners may catch some fans by surprise. But it remains to be seen if Leko will feature in what will be a challenging environment.

The West Brom youngster is predominantly a centre forward but he can also operate from the right wing or as a secondary striker if required.

That versatility marks him out as one to watch at The Hawthorns and manager Tony Pulis will be keen not to lose him as they have the likes of Jerome Sinclair and Izzy Brown in the past.

The last day of the season can throw up all sorts of unexpected scenarios and results, so what chance Pulis introducing the youngster from the bench against one of England’s best defences?
