Report: Udinese defender Thomas Heurtaux agrees a move to Watford

The Frenchman is set to switch one Pozzo run team for another.

Watford are back in the Premier League, with much of their success coming from their controversial ownership from the Pozzo family.

The Italians also own Spanish club Granada and Italian outfit Udinese, which has seen plenty of players head to Vicarage Road from both clubs.

The likes of Matej Vydra, Gabrielle Angela and Ikechi Anya have all switched from either club to play at Watford and the partnership has certainly had its success stories, and its flops.

This summer there is likely to be another player heading to Watford from Udinese, as reported by the Watford Observer.

They claim that Watford want Frenchman Thomas Heurtaux from the Italian side.

The 26-year-old centre-back has been a regular in Serie A in and is one of the most consistent performers in the Italian league.

It is now being reported by Voci di Sport that the player himself has accepted the proposal and is all set to switch Serie A for the Pozzo franchise in the Premier League.

Watford will no doubt need to bring in some new players for next season and Heurtaux is without doubt a player good enough to make that move.
