Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on the signing of Michael Krohn-Dehli, report The Star.
Krohn-Dehli is available on a free transfer this summer with his deal at Spanish side Celta Vigo set to expire.
The report states that the 31-year-old midfielder is seen as of ideal experience to help out young prospects Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason.
Tottenham have been linked in numerous papers including The Evening Standard with a summer clearout, with midfielders like Paulinho and Etienne Capoue high on the list.
With the team likely to play in the Europa League again this season, Spurs will still need squad depth, and a free addition of Danish international Krohn-Dehli, who turns 32 in a fortnight, could be a wise one.
Krohn-Dehli was linked to Spurs back in March by Spanish newspaper AS, and we reported just yesterday how the star has made more ball recoveries than any player in La Liga this season.
That is likely to be a trait which appeals to head coach Mauricio Pochettino's pressing game, and the latest Star report suggests Tottenham remain interested.
Krohn-Dehli has scored one goal for Celta Vigo this season, and has provided five assists. He has 49 international caps and six goals.
