Leeds saw the good and the bad during the 2014/15 season...
It's apt that the only picture of Nicky Ajose in a Leeds United shirt on Getty features Dave Hockaday. Both moved to Elland Road last summer. Both didn't really last.
Ajose hasn't left United permanently (yet) but was loaned out eventually, having managed just 199 minutes of action in three appearances for the Yorkshire outfit.
In terms of Leeds' worst signings of the season, there unfortunately aren't many candidates that can surpass Ajose in terms of a lack of impact.
But Doukara soon found himself out of the team and few were surprised. A lack of work-rate was one of the forward's biggest weaknesses - although he suffered from an overall lack of quality.
Recently the subject of debate between owner Massimo Cellino and a supporter who managed to get into a Leeds press conference, Edgar Cani was chosen in January ahead of Luciano Becchio.
In the end, the Whites may as well have opted for... well, no one. In four substitute appearances, striker Cani played just 49 minutes for Leeds, affecting very little around him.
