Arsenal fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the news that Tomas Rosicky will remain at the club for one more year.
Manager Arsene Wenger announced on Friday that the 34-year-old attacking midfielder will stay at the Emirates Stadium next season.
The Czech Republic international has been on the books of Arsenal since 2006, when he joined them from German outfit Borussia Dortmund.
Even though the ageing Rosicky has struggled for playing time this season, it seems that Wenger rates him highly and considers him an important part of his squad.
The former Sparta Prague star has featured in 15 Premier League matches this season, scoring two goals and creating seven chances in the process.
Rosicky has a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 56%, and he has won nine headers, 11 dribbles and eight tackles.
Following Wenger’s announcement that Rosicky will remain at Arsenal for the 2015-16 campaign, Arsenal fans took to Twitter to have their say.

It's great that #Rosicky has signed a new contract, but it's absolutely useless if We her doesn't give him much game time....— Tom (@tmc_87) May 22, 2015
