SkySports pundit Paul Merson believes there are big changes coming at Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The former Arsenal midfielder was complimentary about head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who he expects will shape the club in his own vision.

Pochettino has had a promising first year in charge but it is ending with a whimper, with the players having nothing to play for.

Merson feels the Argentine is already looking ahead, with just one game to go, and foresees a busy summer transfer market for the club.

He said: "Tottenham’s season has completely fizzled out and the manager is now looking ahead to see which players want to play his way. He knows the players that can’t play his way.

"There will be a lot of movement at Tottenham. I think Mauricio Pochettino is a good manager. He’ll put more of his stamp on things next season."

Tottenham already unofficially have one deal completed, with The Mirror reporting Cologne defender Kevin Wimmer is on his way to the club.

The same report predicts as many as nine first team players could leave, including players Pochettino signed last summer, Federico Fazio and Benjamin Stambouli.

Another who the club are particularly eager to get rid of is striker Emmanuel Adebayor, while Roberto Soldado's future is also in doubt despite them needing back-up for Harry Kane.

Merson predicted that Spurs will end their season with a 2-2 draw away to Everton on Sunday, describing Roberto Martinez's side's season as 'disappointing'.
