The talented youngster would become the youngest ever player to debut for the Spanish giants.

As if Carlo Ancelotti doesn't have enough on his plate right now, amidst speculation he could be sacked by next week, the Italian coach heads into Saturday's final La Liga clash of the season against Getafe, with numerous players ruled out through injury.

Ramos, Modric, Benzema, Khedira and Coentrao, are all out injured and are absent from the squad list, which Ancelotti named on Friday.

Amongst the nineteen players who do feature, however, is 16-year-old Norwegian starlet, Martin Odegaard, who could make his official first-team début, if Ancelotti chooses to give the talented youngster some minutes.

Odegaard has caused some ripples at the club, since his arrival, but not perhaps in the most positive of ways.

As part of his contract, he was guaranteed regular training time with the first-team squad. This has reportedly alienated him somewhat, from team-mates with Real Madrid Castilla, the B team, which has posed a problem for their manager, Zinedine Zidane.

Nonetheless, the club continue to believe they have an exceptional talent on their books, and one who on Saturday, could become the youngest ever player to make his official first-team début, if he features against Getafe.

To date the youngest débutante for Real Madrid, was midfielder Alberto Rivera, who scored in his first an only first-team outing for the club, aged 17 years and 114 days, in a 2-0 victory against Celta Vigo, during the 1994-95 season.

Odegaard was on the bench when Real Madrid beat Almeria, at the back end of April, but whilst he hoped to make an appearance then, Ancelotti kept him sat on the bench. This time, the youngster will be chomping at the bit to finally get his chance to feature.

One thing is for certain - Odegaard will be in the match day squad. Of the nineteen players Ancelotti has named ahead of the game. Three are goalkeepers, meaning that one will be discarded.

The Real Madrid squad is as follows:

Casillas, Keylor Navas, Pacheco, Varane, Pepe, Marcelo, Carvajal, Arbeloa, Nacho, Kroos, James, Bale, Lucas Silva, Isco, Illarramendi, Odegaard, Cristiano Ronaldo, Chicharito, Jese.
