The Brazilian is also hotly tipped to join Juventus.
Simon Mignolet has had a topsy-turvy season at Liverpool. Earlier in the campaign he could do no right at Anfield. He was missing crosses, panicking in possession and making a howler per game. At that point Liverpool were being linked with plenty of goalkeepers to replace the Belgian.
However, he has turned it around in the New Year. After a brief spell out of the team, when he was replaced by Brad Jones, he has come back firing and been one of the best goalies in the Premier League this season.
But now, it is reported, that Liverpool are going to make a last-ditch move to sign one of the players that was linked with signing for Liverpool during Mignolet's struggles ... Neto.
The Fiorentina goalie has refused to sign a new deal with La Viola and is reportedly on his way to Juventus.
The Brazilian wants guaranteed first-team football, which considering the recent form of Mignolet is unlikely.
But with Jones departing Liverpool this summer they need a competitive stopper to put Mignolet under pressure next term.
Could Neto be that man?
