A selection of the latest stories in the media involving Tottenham Hotspur this Thursday evening.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Redknapp suggested that the Brazilian hasn't justified the £17 million that was spent on him. The comments came about after former Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes warned players against heading to North London - as covered by the Daily Mail.
Redknapp said: “If they’re going to come over here, they have got to produce the goods and Paulinho at the moment, like so many other lads at Tottenham who were bought for big money, hasn’t produced.
“It’s the kids at Tottenham that have been the driving force behind the team this year. Without Harry Kane, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and Danny Rose, I don’t know where they would have been this season.
“Paulinho needs to get his act in order if he wants to play.”
Tottenham still have a chance of improving on last season's league position and finishing fifth this season if they win their final game of the season against Everton on Sunday.
Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace last weekend, which has opened the door for both Tottenham and Southampton to potentially leapfrog them if they don't win at Stoke City, and one Spurs player is wary of the threat will Everton pose - even though they have endured a difficult season.
Eric Dier has been talking to the Tottenham website ahead of the fixture, and expects a tough encounter, saying: “I’m sure they will want to finish on a high in front of their fans as well so even though it’s the last game of the season, there is still plenty on it.
Finally, Spurs have seen two of their players receive call-ups to the England international side.
Andros Townsend and Ryan Mason, who both featured in Roy Hodgson's last squad, have been selected for the games against the Republic of Ireland in a friendly on June 7 and a Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia a week later.
