Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has agreed a new contract with the club, according to The Sun.
The British tabloid claims that the highly-rated youngster will sign a five-year deal worth £35,000 a week.
It has also been reported by The Sun that the announcement of the contract will be made today.
Ibe has been superb for Liverpool over the past few months despite his struggles with injuries.
The 19-year-old has established himself as an important player in Brendan Rodgers’s side since he was recalled from his loan spell at Championship outfit Derby County in January.
The England Under-20 international has created four chances in 11 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside outfit, while having a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 44%.
Handing Ibe a long-term contract is a smart decision from Liverpool. The youngster is a rising star, and getting a new deal will make him feel more secure and could lead to even better performances next season.
