Ray Parlour makes a prediction over the future of Sam Allardyce

Former Gunner Ray Parlour feels Sam Allardyce will be fine, whether he stays at West Ham United or moves onto a club like Sunderland.

Former Arsenal player Ray Parlour made a prediction over the future of West Ham manager Sam Allardyce on talkSPORT.

Parlour suggested that there are two possible outcomes for Allardyce, if he’s not given the chance to stay on at West Ham beyond this season.

The Daily Telegraph suggested earlier this week that the current Hammers boss will be out of a job shortly after the club’s final game of the season against Newcastle, but Parlour thinks he’ll be fine in terms of his next role.

“That’s the big question, I hear he loves living in London but QPR have just appointed Chris Ramsey – Fulham could be a good club for him, he knows the Championship and they’ll back him – He is a Premier League manager so maybe Sunderland’s a good fit for him, we’ll just have to wait and see,” he said.

Sunderland would now be a very good fit for Big Sam because they secured their Premier League safety with a point against Arsenal last night.

That presents a possible chance for Allardyce to remain in the Premier League, possibly proving a point to West Ham United if their paths should cross in the future.

However, Allardyce may fancy the challenge of dipping down into the Championship where he can still earn good money as he looks to guide a team into the Premier League.

West Ham should be fine if they decide to move on and Parlour clearly feels that Allardyce will be fine in terms of finding his next job.
