Jed Wallace has moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers from Portsmouth.

Jed Wallace has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Wolverhampton Wanderers from Portsmouth.

The attacking midfielder has signed a three-year contract with the Championship outfit, as reported by BBC Sport.

The 21-year-old is delighted to have made the switch, but he is also appreciative of the support he has got from the Portsmouth fans over the past few years.

Wallace was one of the best players for Portsmouth this season, scoring 17 goals in 50 appearances.

The former England Under-19 international joined Pompey from non-league side Lewes in 2011 and soon showed his quality.

The youngster leaves Portsmouth having scored 30 goals in 121 appearances for them. Wallace finished as their top goalscorer in each of the past two seasons.

Wallace is Wolves’ first signing of the summer. Kenny Jackett’s side got promoted to the Championship from League One at the end of the 2013-14 campaign and narrowly missed the playoffs this season.
