Former Brazil international Gomes joined Watford on a free transfer in the summer of 2014 after being released by North London outfit tottenham Hotspur.
Following the announcement, Watford winger Anya sent the veteran goalkeeper this message on Twitter:

While Gomes looks set to remain at Watford for the next three years at least, the future of Anya remains uncertain.
According to The Mirror, Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are interested in signing the 27-year-old in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Bhoys will make a bid of £4 million and are confident of attracting him due to their potential presence in the Champions League next season.
Anya is one of the best players in the current Watford squad and was a key reason behind their success in the Championship this season.
The former Northampton Town man created 35 chances in as many league appearances, while having a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 50%.
Watford finished second in the Championship and earned automatic promotion to the Premier League for the 2015-16 campaign.
