Alejandro Faurlin sends message to Charlie Austin on Twitter after England call-up

QPR Crest

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has been included in the England squad for matches against the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia.

Alejandro Faurlin has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Queens Park Rangers teammate Charlie Austin on getting an England call-up.

Austin has been included in the England squad to play the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia in June.

The QPR striker has been in impressive form this season and has been given the chance to feature for the Three Lions for the first time in his career.

Rangers midfielder Faurlin has taken to Twitter to sign the praises of Austin.

Austin has been arguably Rangers’ best player this season and has deservedly got the chance to represent his country.

The former Burnley star has scored 17 goals and created 23 chances in 34 Premier League appearances this season.

The 25-year-old has a pass accuracy of 66% and a shot accuracy of 66%, and he has won 86 headers, 14 dribbles and 15 tackles.

Austin’s heroics, though, failed to prevent QPR from getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship.
