Jan Aage Fjortoft suggested Raheem Sterling will not be heading to German giants Bayern Munich.
Sterling to Bayern? Why is it that every English star looking for more money are linked to Bayern? Age? Yes. Abilities? Yes. Attitude? No— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) May 20, 2015
Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft dismissed the idea that Liverpool player Raheem Sterling could be on his way to Bayern Munich.
However, Fjortoft made it clear that he does not see the player’s attitude as something, which will see him fit into Pep Guardiola’s current setup at the Allianz Arena.
He is a player who could net Liverpool a big fee, but it’s unlikely that he’ll end up in the Bundesliga ahead of next year.
For now, he needs to get his head down and focus on playing for Liverpool and if he performs and if an exit is what he wants, it will follow.
He’s got to stay realistic over any club he looks to join because if he sets his sights too high, it’s going to be difficult for him to play as frequently as would be the case if he stays where he is.
