Queens Park Rangers have appointed Chris Ramsey as their head coach.
The London outfit made the announcement on their official website earlier today, stating that the Englishman has been given a three-year contract.
Ramsey was put in charge of the QPR first team in February following the departure of Harry Redknapp due to problems with his knee.
The 53-year-old was given the job until the end of the season and was entrusted with the task of keeping QPR in the Premier League.
Ramsey failed to do so, and Rangers will go back down to the Championship for the 2015-16 season.
However, it seems that QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has confidence in Ramsey, and believes that he is the right man to take the R’s back to the top flight of English football.
Following the announcement of the news, former QPR winger Trevor Sinclair and the club’s fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say.
