Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Isaiah Brown on making his debut for Chelsea on Monday evening.
Brown played his first competitive game for the London giants in the 3-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion away from home in the Premier League.
The 18-year-old attacker came on as a substitute in the 79th minute in place of striker Loic Remy at The Hawthorns.
Bamford, who is on loan at Championship outfit Middlesbrough from Chelsea, was delighted to see the teenager turn out against his former club West Brom.
During his time on the pitch, Brown completed 73% of his passes and won one header.
Meanwhile, Bamford will hope to be part of the Chelsea first team next season. The England Under-21 international has been in superb form in the Championship this campaign, and one suspects that he will hope that he has impressed manager Jose Mourinho.
The former Nottingham Forest forward has played an important role in Middlesbrough reaching the final of the Championship playoff this term.
In 39 Championship appearances this season, Bamford has scored 16 goals and created 28 chances, while having a pass accuracy of 71% and a shot accuracy of 51%.
