Don Hutchison pulls no punches in assessment of Newcastle United's situation

Newcastle United could get relegated from the Premier League.

Former Sunderland midfielder Don Hutchison has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on the current situation at Newcastle United.

Newcastle are in grave danger of getting relegated from the Premier League, with the team struggling for form and for points.

John Carver’s side have lost nine of their last 10 league matches and find themselves just two points above the bottom three at the moment.

There have been protests from the fans against club owner Mike Ashley this season, and things do indeed look bleak for the Magpies.

Hutchison seems to be appalled at the current situation at Newcastle and has harsh words for the club.

While Newcastle are in a mess at the moment, there is still a chance that they could come out of the situation.

For the Magpies to retain their Premier League status for the 2015-16 campaign, they need to win their final game of the season against West Ham United at St. James’ Park on Sunday.

It is easier said than done, but if the fans give their full support to the players, then Newcastle could defeat the Hammers.
