Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom has told the club's official website that he has improved this season - but is still looking to develop more.
Akpom, 19, has been with the Gunners since the age of six, and is touted as one for the future for both club and country having made his way up through the ranks in North London.
The teenager will now be looking to play for Arsenal before the end of the season, as he looks to continue his development at the Emirates Stadium.
Dougie Freedman needed a striker to replace the injured Britt Assombalonga, but in seven games for Forest, Akpom failed to find the back of the net in a disappointing loan spell.
Despite that, Akpom has told the Arsenal official website that he has improved a lot this season - but is still hoping to carry on his development in the coming months.
"I think I’ve improved a lot this season, especially mentally," said Akpom. "But there’s still a lot more improving I can do so I’ll carry on working hard and listening to the right people. I feel happy and proud of myself, but I want to do more, I am not just satisfied with this," he added.
With Arsene Wenger at the helm, Akpom has the perfect manager to grow under; and whilst his spell with Forest didn't go to plan, the teenage forward should still get playing time during pre-season as he looks to make an impact.
