Axel Tuanzebe has won a prestigious award at Manchester United.
The teenager was named as the Jimmy Murphy player of the year at the club's annual awards do, the gong given to the best under-18 talent at the club.
Previous winners include Danny Welbeck and James Wilson, and centre-back Tuanzebe is aiming high.
Accepting the award, he spoke of his dream of playing for the Red Devils first team.
Tuanzebe: "It's been a good season for myself. I hope I can continue progressing and get to the first team soon enough." #mufcpoty— Manchester United (@ManUtd) May 19, 2015
Tuanzebe is just 17-years-old, but has already made two appearances for the club's under-21 team.
Born in DR Congo, the defender is eligible to play for them or England, and is yet to be capped at youth international level.
Becoming a regular for the under-21s is the next step for him to aim for, but this award will give him a significant confidence boost.
Tuanzebe is described by United's official website as being a natural leader, and a 'robust and imposing' defender.
The Manchester Evening News reported earlier this year that Tuanzebe has already caught the attention of manager Louis van Gaal, who has been impressed by his progress.
