Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nacer Chadli has told the club's official site of his desire to hit the back of the net in their final game of the season.
Spurs take on Everton on the last day of the campaign and they know that they will need to pick up a win if they are to get into the Europa League.
It is a big challenge for the squad, but Chadli is hoping to build on his momentum to help his side to an important three points.
The Belgian winger scored his 13th goal of the season in Tottenham's most recent fixture against Hull City, which they won 2-0, and he is hoping to raise his total even further against Everton.
"We had to bounce back after Stoke, we know we didn’t play well last week but this time we managed to play much better in front of our fans and it was nice to be able to finish like that with the fans there to support us," he said.
“I was pleased to score one more time and there is still a game to go, we really want to win that one as well and hopefully I’ll get another goal.”
Chadli has had an impressive second season at White Hart Lane, in goalscoring terms, but he is still a player who divides opinions amongst supporters.
Although the 25-year-old must be credited for the way that he has progressed, there are still some Spurs fans who feel he is beneath the standard required to push them on to the next level.
Chadli is a powerful attacker, but he has been kept quiet in some games this season and many say that he needs to be upgraded, even if he does have the happy knack of hitting the back of the net.
