Manchester United-linked Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane calls White Hart Lane ‘home’, so why would he leave?

Defence - Spurs v Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reportedly on the radar of Premier League rivals Manchester United.

According to a recent report in The Daily Mail, United are planning a bid of £45 million for the England international.

The Red Devils will need to reinforce their attack next season, and with Kane having a marvellous breakthrough season, it does not come as a surprise that manager Louis van Gaal is interested in his services.

Over the years, Tottenham have sold some of their best players to bigger clubs, and many fans will be worried that Kane could leave in the summer transfer window despite signing a new contract in February.

However, if the 21-year-old’s latest post on social media is anything to go by, then he is staying at White Hart Lane.

Following Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Hull City at home in the Premier League on Saturday, Kane made the following post on Instagram:

Kane calls White Hart Lane ‘home’, and it is clear to one and all that he loves playing for Tottenham.

True, United are a bigger club and can offer the youngster a better chance of winning trophies, but Kane is a Spurs fan and is living the dream of every supporter of the North London outfit.

As Tottenham are set to end yet another season without a major trophy, Spurs fans can rest assured that their prized asset will remain at the club for the 2015-16 campaign.
