Could Alex Pritchard be in line to feature for Spurs against Everton?

The skilful England Under-21 midfielder could yet make a cameo appearance in Tottenham's final match of the season.

Tottenham's talented young midfielder Alex Pritchard could be set to appear for the North Londoners now his loan with Brentford as expired.

Spurs have just one game left of the current Premier League season, an away trip to Everton, but he could make his first Tottenham appearance of the season, depending on Mauricio Pochettino's squad selection.

The 22-year-old of course made his debut for Spurs this time last year, coming off the bench in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa late on to replace Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Since then, the attacking midfielder has starred in the Bees' bold attempt at successive promotions, helping them into the playoffs in the Championship with 12 goals and 7 assists.

Like last year, when he returned from a loan spell from Swindon to make an unexpected appearance, Pritchard could again be involved in the final match day squad for Pochettino's side.

And with the England Under-21 player reportedly in talks over a new four-year deal, according to Sky Sports, expect to see him feature heavily from now, throughout pre-season and up until the start of next season.
