Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Ozil's performance against United

Arsenal and Manchester United drew 1-1 on Sunday but what did Gunners fans think of Mesut Ozil's contribution?

Arsenal came away from Old Trafford with a share of the spoils on Sunday, as they drew 1-1 with Manchester United.

Ander Herrera put the hosts ahead with a fine finish in the first half, but Arsenal ensured it was not the debut Victor Valdes was hoping for when the Spanish substitute conceded a Theo Walcott cross that deflected in off Tyler Blackett.

The result means Arsenal will almost certainly finish the season in third place, but in truth manager Arsene Wenger is likely to be disappointed with what was a below-par performance from his side.

One player in particular who was far from his best was German play-maker Mesut Ozil.

The former Real Madrid man returned from injury in blistering form but he has faltered in recent weeks and he is now without a goal or an assist in five league matches.

After the game against United we took to Twitter to see what Arsenal fans thought of Ozil’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
