Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford puts Arsene Wenger’s men into poll position to finish in third place this season and hence miss out on the Champions League qualification fixture.
The Gunners are already starting to think about next season and have confirmed the line-up for the 2015 Emirates Cup on their official website, which will take place on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26.
Arsenal will face Lyon on the first day of the competition, before facing Wolfsburg on the next day.
The clash against the French side will see the Gunners facing reported transfer targets Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette, as per The Guardian.
The action on Sunday will see the North London side face former striker Nicklas Bendtner return to his former club, which will be interesting for the home faithful.
Spaniards Villarreal will also play in the competition, but will not face the Gunners over the space of the two days.
All three teams have had impressive campaigns in 2014-15 and boast an array of top players, which should make for a high-quality tournament.
