Erik Lamela notched an assist in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Hull City on Saturday.
Tottenham Hotspur bounced back from last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Stoke City with a comfortable 2-0 win over Hull City on Saturday.
After a poor first half showing, Spurs came out reinvigorated in the second half, scoring twice thanks to goals from Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose.
Tottenham sent fans home happy in their final home game of the season, and they were particularly impressed with Erik Lamela's performance.
The Argentine arrived from Roma almost two years ago, but has so far failed to perform on a consistent basis despite being signed as a replacement for Gareth Bale.
This season, the 23-year-old has been in and out of the side under Mauricio Pochettino, but showed what he can do with a great display against Hull.
Lamela not only worked hard defensively but also supplied Chadli for the opening goal with a superb through ball, splitting the Hull defence in the process.
Spurs fans were full of praise for Lamela after the game, taking to Twitter to praise the former River Plate prodigy for a display which Tottenham supporters hoping for more of the same next season.
