Both of Tottenham’s goals came in the second half. Nacer Chadli opened the scoring in the 54th minute after latching onto Erik Lamela's through-ball, and Danny Rose made it 2-0 just past the hour mark after picking up a superb pass from Ryan Mason.
Huddlestone, a former Tottenham player, was disappointed with Hull’s defeat and posted the following message on Twitter:
