Hull City went down 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday.

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Tottenham Hotspur away from home on Saturday.

The Tigers suffered a 2-0 defeat to Spurs at White Hart Lane in North London in the Premier League.

Both of Tottenham’s goals came in the second half. Nacer Chadli opened the scoring in the 54th minute after latching onto Erik Lamela's through-ball, and Danny Rose made it 2-0 just past the hour mark after picking up a superb pass from Ryan Mason.

Huddlestone, a former Tottenham player, was disappointed with Hull’s defeat and posted the following message on Twitter:

Over the course of the 90 minutes at White Hart Lane, Hull had 44% of the possession, took 14 shots of which only two were on target and earned eight corners.

Hull are currently third from bottom in the Premier League table with 34 points from 37 matches, two points behind Newcastle United, who are 17th in the league standings at the moment.
