Report: Tottenham to sell nine players, including Lamela, Fazio and Stambouli

The north London side will not wait on nine players, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sell no less than nine players who have fallen short of boss Mauricio Pochettino's requirements this summer, according to the Sunday People.

Indeed, Roberto Soldado, Erik Lamela, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Benjamin Stambouli, Vlad Chiriches, Federico Fazio, Emmanuel Adebayor and Younes Kaboul could all be moved on.

Are they the right choices?

Soldado: Sell - The Spaniard has been given enough chances at White Hart Lane and should hopefully recoup a few million.

Lamela: Keep - The Argentine has just started to come good at Tottenham. Selling now makes no sense.

Paulinho: Sell - The Brazilian could still be of use to Spurs but is too hit and miss.

Etienne Capoue: Sell - Competition for places in the north London side's midfield is high and the Frenchman just doesn't fit the bill any more.

Benjamin Stambouli: Keep - This French midfielder has the qualities Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb struggle with. He is needed at the Lane.

Vlad Chiriches: Sell - His most recent Tottenham performances have been a train wreck.

Federico Fazio: Sell - Although it makes the decision to sign him last summer all the more puzzling.

Emmanuel Adebayor: Sell - if there are any buyers...

Younes Kaboul: Sell - The most definitive case for a sale there is at Spurs. The former captain hasn't played in a significant while and is well below the standards required in the capital.
