Photo: Yedlin and Townsend look on from the bench against Hull

The Tottenham Hotspur duo again didn't feature against Hull City.

Tottenham may have delivered a routine 2-0 win against Hull on Saturday afternoon but there are still plenty of questions that need answering at White Hart Lane.

The north London side's first-half performance wasn't much of a departure from recent form, either, with Hull keeping it goalless before half-time.

Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose settled the encounter after the break but, as stated, there is plenty to ponder for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino. So too, when it comes to the Argentine's team selection, is there plenty to ponder for fans.

Supporters once again looked on as Eric Dier played at right-back in favour of the shaky Federico Fazio at centre-back. Why, when Spurs have an actual right-back on the bench in DeAndre Yedlin?

The 21-year-old appeared to look on in frustration during Tottenham's win, while Andros Townsend was alongside him.

A far as Townsend is concerned, however, Pochettino has got this one right - belatedly. The winger has flattered to deceive - to put it mildly - this season and Erik Lamela is currently a far better option. But that didn't seem to make him feel any better...
