Felipe Massa was at the Premier League game between West Ham United and Everton on Saturday.

West Ham United defender James Tomkins did not feature in the team’s final home game of the season on Saturday, but he still had something to cheer about.

The 26-year-old is still recovering from a dislocated shoulder injury and is not fully match-fit.

Tomkins was not in the Hammers’ matchday squad for the Premier League game against Merseyside outfit Everton at the Boleyn Ground, but he was at the stadium.

Also at the Boleyn Ground was Formula One racing driver Felipe Massa, and Tomkins was delighted to have his picture taken with the Brazilian.

Tomkins has scored one goal and created 10 chances in 21 Premier League appearances this season, while having a pass accuracy of 76% and a shot accuracy of 33%.

The Hammers lost the match against Everton 2-1, but they can still finish in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.

West Ham’s final game of the seasons against relegation-threatened Newcastle United away from home at St. James’ Park next Sunday.
