Manchester United and Arsenal are playing each other at Old Trafford in the Premier League at the moment.

Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal how he is following today’s match against Arsenal.

The England international is missing the ongoing Premier League encounter at Old Trafford due to a leg injury.

The 29-year-old was taken off at half time during last weekend’s league match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after sustaining a painful dead leg.

Rooney, though, is at the game at Old Trafford with his kids and is cheering on his teammates.

Rooney has not had the best of seasons, but he has played an important role in United securing a top-four finish in the Premier League.

The former Everton star has scored 12 goals and created 45 chances in 32 Premier League appearances.

The Englishman has a pass accuracy of 85% and a shot accuracy of 51%, and he has won 41 headers, 38 dribbles and 30 tackles.
