The Colombian has one game left of his loan deal at the club.
The Colombian has struggled for his best form since joining United, but this was one of his better performances.
He worked extremely hard up top, haranguing the Arsenal defence at every available moment and making a few breaks beyond the back line, troubling Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker.
He did also keep falling over and unfortunately failed to find the back of the net once again. Falcao has not scored since the end of January tie with Leicester City and their is no doubt fans will be wondering what might have been for Falcao.
His loan deal will come to an end after United take on Hull City on the final day of the season. After that, it looks unlikely that United will be keeping hold of the player, whose reported fee and wages would be far too expensive considering the form he has shown this season.
But most United fans were still keen on the player, despite his troubles, and shared their thoughts on Twitter.
Here is some of the best reaction to his performance...
Thank you @FALCAO for being such a Professional, such a Fighter during your time as a RED.. Wishing you good luck in your next team.— روح مانشستر يونايتد (@United7Heart) May 17, 2015

Falcao did much more than RVP. Just saying... He deserved to play the rest of the match, he was doing good and goal was coming for him.— Bert (@MUtdB) May 17, 2015
Class touch from Old Trafford today when @FALCAO (who was v.good) was subbed off. True professional. Hope you have a better next season.— El Fideo (@DiMariaTekkers) May 17, 2015
Sad that Falcao didn't have the best of seasons with us. Right club, wrong time I think. Wish him all the best. He's a genuine good guy #DW— All For United (@allforunited) May 17, 2015

Feel so sorry for Falcao. I really do. Put in a good shift today, but no goals - nothing to show for it.— manutdreport (@manutdreport) May 17, 2015
