The Arsenal legend praised the United midfielder after Sunday's 1-1 draw.
The 25-year-old scored during United's 1-1 draw with the north London side on Sunday afternoon, capping what has been an encouraging debut season at Old Trafford.
And Wright singled Herrera out for praise on Twitter after the Premier League stalemate between both sides battling for third in the table.

Indeed, as Opta stats show, one of the Spaniard's many feats during the 1-1 draw was completing the most final-third passes for his side against the Gunners (25).
Compatriot Juan Mata was three behind, while Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini completed Manchester United's top five.

United will finish their Premier League campaign against Hull City, while Arsenal are due to face Sunderland and West Brom.
