The Uruguayan has made a hasty recovery from a hamstring injury according the Spanish press.

Barcelona need three points away to reigning champions Atletico Madrid today to claim the La Liga title, with Luis Enrique’s men hoping it will be the first piece of silverware of a momentous treble this term.

The Camp Nou side have opened up a four-point lead over perennial rivals Real Madrid and know that they can win the Spanish top flight later today.

In the process of progression through to the Champions League final with an aggregate victory over Bayern Munich in midweek, Luis Suarez picked up a slight hamstring strain.

The Uruguay international was replaced at half-time in the clash at the Allianz Arena and was initially a doubt for today’s fixture at the Estadio Vicente Calderon.

However, Spanish newspaper AS has confirmed that Suarez trained with Luis Enrique’s contingent yesterday and will be fit for consideration for the game in Madrid.

The former Liverpool star has formed a formidable attacking trident with Lionel Messi and Neymar, with Barcelona’s chances of getting the desired result against Atletico boosted by Suarez’s presence in the visiting forward line.
