Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his full support to the team for today’s match against Manchester City.
The 32-year-old right-back has not been included in the Swans’ matchday squad for the Premier League game against last season’s champions City.
Rangel is out with an injury he sustained against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Monday.
However, the Spanish has assured the fans that he will cheer his Swansea teammates against City this afternoon.
Unfortunately not involved today but can't wait to watch our last home game of the season in front of our loyal supporters. Come on!!!— Angel Rangel (@arangelz) May 17, 2015
Rangel has been on the books of Swansea since 2007 and is a senior member of the squad.
The former Terrassa star has featured in 27 Premier League matches for the Welsh outfit this season, creating 13 chances in the process.
Rangel has a pass accuracy of 82% and a shot accuracy of 33%, and he has won 28 headers, five dribbles and 41 tackles.
