It has been reported by the Italian website that two clubs are looking at the former Inter Milan boss to fill their managerial seat in the summer.

John Carver is currently the head coach of Newcastle, but the Englishman was handed the job only for the rest of the season.

Dick Advocaat is in charge of Sunderland at the moment, but the Dutchman is out of contract at the Black Cats at the end of the season. claims that former Napoli coach Mazzarri is being considered by both the clubs.

Interestingly, both Sunderland and Newcastle are struggling for survival in the Premier League.

There is a chance that one of them could go down to the Championship, and one suspects that Mazzarri will not be interested in that team for next season.

The 53-year-old has a strong reputation in Italy, having worked wonders at Sampdoria over two years before taking charge of Napoli.

During his tenure in Naples, the Azzurri finished in the top three of Serie A twice and played in the Champions League.

At Inter, though, Mazzarri struggled to make an impact and was sacked in November 2014 after he was handed the reigns in the summer of 2013.
