Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry has been photographed taking part in Gunners training ahead of their clash with Manchester United on Sunday; and while the German is unlikely to feature in that match, could he do so before the season ends?
The 19-year-old has not played for Arsenal’s senior side all season due to injury, but he has recently returned to action for the club’s under-21s, playing seven times in total and scoring in his most recent outing against Bolton Wanderers.
With some 90-minute appearances under his belt, and with Arsenal potentially shuffling the pack after the United match with the FA Cup final on the horizon, it could be the perfect time for Gnabry to finally get back into the first-team frame.
After all, prior to his injury setback the youngster was impressing for Arsene Wenger’s side and he has 18 senior appearances for the North London club to date.
The vast majority of those came last season, and having trained yet again with the Arsenal first-team, it would be a timely boost if he did get some action either against Sunderland or West Bromwich Albion in the matches ahead.
