Newcastle fans react on Twitter to Remy Cabella's performance v QPR

The Frenchman flattered to deceive against Queens Park Rangers.

Newcastle United fans have expressed their wrath on a number of occasions this season - with just cause. The likes of Moussa Sissoko, Tim Krul, Mike Williamson and many, many more have all been specific targets for it this term - again, with just cause.

The problem is, though, no matter how loud the Newcastle supporters express themselves - be it in the terraces or online - their players aren't listening. And 'the best coach in the Premier League' certainly isn't.

Against QPR, Newcastle let themselves down yet again. Fans, meanwhile, could have singled out any one of their poor performers at Loftus Road. The Magpies were 1-0 up but, predictably, let their lead slip to lose 2-1.

And one man who attracted heavy criticism was Remy Cabella. The Frenchman was brought to St James' Park with hope of him starring in a creative role for the Tyneside outfit this campaign. Little has he actually offered - especially against QPR.

Newcastle have had some success buying French in the past, of course. They've had some failures, too, but the likes of Mathieu Debuchy and Yohan Cabaye certainly flourished with the Magpies. Cabella doesn't look of the same mould.
