Celtic were held to a goalless draw by St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park in Perth in the Scottish Premiership on Friday.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Charlie Mulgrew against St. Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening.

Mulgrew came on as a half-time substitute for defender Jason Denayer at McDiarmid Park in Perth and played for the entire second half.

It was the 29-year-old’s first competitive appearance for the Bhoys since December 2014, when he picked up a knee injury.

The Scotland international is a versatile player who is able to feature as a central midfielder, a central defender or a left-back.

Against St. Johnstone on Friday, Mulgrew gave a good account of himself, although at times he did look a bit rusty (for obvious reasons).

Following the goalless draw in Perth, Celtic fans took to Twitter to have their say on the return to action of Mulgrew.
