West Ham United may have had a disappointing end to the season, but in truth Hammers fans should be quietly pleased with their 2014-15 campaign.
The club had an excellent start to the season and brought in some great talent last summer. They have also tied down the likes of Mark Noble and Winston Reid to long-term deals this term and are surely going to be in the market again over the coming few months.
West Ham are also looking odds-on to qualify for the Europa League through fair-play standings this season and are looking forward to a move to the London Olympic Stadium in the coming years.
All in all things are on the up at West Ham.
Co-chairman David Gold is therefore rightly optimistic about the future for West Ham and will be hoping the changes lure more and more West Ham fans in the future.
Yesterday he even did his own bit to help the club get at least one more fan on board with this Tweet:
Brodie, pull your self together, become a Hammer and support the greatest club in the world. dg https://t.co/BlD2Hf7xaj— David Gold (@davidgold) May 14, 2015
Of course it is not all roses at Upton Park. The club are still in limbo over their management for next season, with Sam Allardyce out of contract at the end of the season.
But overall, West Ham certainly look a good team to back going forward.
