Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham fans react to Yevhen Konoplyanka's Europa League semi-final performance on Twitter

England V Ukraine

The Ukrainian international has been in great form this season.

Last night saw Ukrainian side Dnipro create history by making it to the UEFA Europa League final. The club defeated Napoli 1-0 yesterday in Kiev, as they cannot play at their home stadium because of the ongoing civil conflict in Ukraine.

The fact they have made it to the final without playing a single game at home, it is a truly miraculous achievement.

The goal on the night came from Yevhen Seleznyov, heading in after a fantastic cross from Yevhen Konoplyanka.

The latter player is indeed on the radar of many Premier League clubs - including London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

In February it was reported by The Daily Star that Tottenham were trying to sign the Ukrainian international on a free transfer.

West Ham United were linked with the player by Sky Sports last summer, who claimed a £9.5 million bid for the player had been rejected.

With his contract up in the summer both clubs are likely to have him on their radar once again and it now looks like he might get a chance to have a perfect send off with his beloved Dnipro.

Here is some of the reaction from Twitter for Konoplyanka's performance last night...
